What is a city group & should I join one?
City Groups are essential to the life and community of New City Church. They are weekly small group gatherings that meet in homes across the greater Tampa area to help foster authentic relationships, intentional discipleship, and missional urgency. During these gatherings, we study the Bible together, pray for each other, and seek to build healthy biblical community while deepening our relationship with Jesus.

In our City Groups, we engage in community, bible study, and prayer. For more intentional discipleship we break into smaller gender-based groups.

WHERE DO WE MEET?
We have many different groups at New City Church that meet in several different locations across the Greater Tampa area. Our groups meet in the home of the group leader or the group host.
WHAT DO THE GROUPS STUDY?
Our groups work in partnership with the message from the preceding Sunday.
WHAT IF WE NEED CHILDCARE?
We understand that having children can sometimes make it more difficult to join a City Group. But we don’t want there to be any deterrent to people getting into community here at New City. Our solution is to reimburse you for the cost of childcare during your group. Email the City Group leader of the group you are planning on attending and ask them what their group does.
