Worship Director (Full or Part Time)

The Worship Director is responsible for the organizing, planning and leading of the worship ministry. This includes but is not limited to Sunday gatherings, rehearsals, Nights of Worship and Prayer and other events where we gather together for corporate worship.

Ministry Residency (full or part time)

Our ministry residency is a fully support-raised program that allows those who desire ministry to explore their calling and gifts in ministry within the context of the local church.  Being a part of the ministry residency is a staff position that requires at least 10 hours/week, up to full-time of hands-on ministry that will be designated based on needs of the church as well as gifts and desires of the individual.  Ministry area opportunities include student ministry, college ministry, kids ministry, worship ministry, groups ministry, community ministry, church administration, communication, etc. 

An additional option is a remote 2-year seminary track through Southeastern Baptist Theological Seminary that works in conjunction with Mercy Hill Church in Greensboro, NC.  Upon completion of the 2-year program, the resident will have a masters of arts in Christian Ministry. 

With the program being fully support-raised, the resident is responsible for raising the necessary funds to be on paid staff.  Part-time, full-time, and full-time benefits are dependent upon the financial support raised.  Working another part-time job is an option; however, staff meetings and seminary classes are at recurring set times throughout the week.
