Today we continue our sermon series in the book of James, Everyday Gospel. In James 3:1-12, James points out that to control our bodies, we must control our tongues, and the condition of our hearts is revealed through how we speak.

Pastor Eric highlights four points from the text:

1) Our words can direct lives (vs. 1-5).

2) Our words can destroy lives (vs. 5-8).

3) Our words can build up lives.

4) Our words reveal our hearts.
