This week, we continue our miniseries within our Why Church? series, focusing on the question, “Why does the church need the Holy Spirit?”. In chapter 2:32-41 of Acts, Peter’s sermon is concluded as he exhorts the crowds to call upon the name of Jesus, and 3,000 people are saved and baptized!

Pastor Eric shares three takeaways from the text:

1) The church needs the Holy Spirit to make Jesus both Lord and Christ.

2) The church needs the Holy Spirit to see true repentance.

3) The church needs the Holy Spirit to see salvation.
